Voluntary Life & Disability Insurance

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

This plan pays cash directly to you if you are admitted to the hospital. You may receive payments for hospital admission, daily inpatient stays, ICU stays, observation stays, and an annual wellness benefit. Funds can be used for any purpose including medical bills, childcare, or household expenses. This coverage is 100 percent employee paid, and rates vary based on age and coverage level.

Accident Insurance

Accident Insurance pays cash benefits if you are injured in an accident. Payments may apply to ER visits, hospitalization, ambulance services, fractures, burns, and other accident-related injuries. The plan also includes an annual wellness benefit. This coverage is voluntary and fully employee paid.

Family Kayaking Adventure

​Supplemental Life Insurance

Employees may purchase additional life insurance in increments of $10,000 up to a maximum of $500,000. Evidence of Insurability may be required if you previously waived coverage or request a higher amount. Supplemental Life provides extra financial protection for your family.

 

Long Term Disability (LTD)

Employees may elect Long Term Disability coverage, which replaces 60% of monthly pre-disability earnings up to $8,000 per month
if you experience a long-term illness or injury. Benefits begin after a 180-day elimination period. Evidence of Insurability may be required.
